Default Best lift addition?

Hello everyone! I have a 76 K5 with 8" SL. Wanting to add 4 more inches. I don't want to do more than 2" BL, so what would be my best options? I notice that they have blocks for the front. How sturdy is that really? Should I just add asome leafs then do a couple of body? All opinions welcome!!! Truck will be used for mostly street, mud, snow, sand (in that order). No crawling.

Get the blocks out of the front! Seriously, that is completely unsafe! Buy some springs and do it right.
If you want to go higher, you should just buy a new 10" lift kit and a 2" BL. Why do you need to go higher anyways? It seems pretty tall.

Yeah, I can only find 8" kits, so I assume you need to have one made...can you say $$$$$$!?! I wanted to go a safe, less-expensive route. I've been told too that I could do a reverse-shackle in the rear, add a couple leafs to the front, plus the body lift. Don't know much about the reverse shackle deal. I have to look more into that. Why higher you say? I've had it this way for about 6 years, it's time for bigger tires, etc. Thanks for the reply!!!
