Cool Foglight addition

I have 2002 Blazer 4 door 4x4 that I would like to add fog lights to, but I want them to operate from an OEM type fog light switch I can get from one of the aftermarket suppliers to replace my present headlight control switch.

So, I have a few questions that I hope someone smarter than me on this forum can answer.

1. Are the wires for the fog light switch already in the present dashboard wiring harness/plug?
2. Are the wires for the fog light switch already in the present headlight wiring harness/plug system.
3. If the wires are already included, can I install the switch, fog light relay, fuse, and connect fog lights to the wires in the headlight harness and expect things to work?
4. Or, if I do all this and they don't work, can a Chevy dealer do some computer 'magic' to tell the Chassis Control Module that there are new things to control?

Thanks in advance for any answers - Ted

I think all the wiring is there. I know it is in the dash. The thing is it goes through the pcm so it will have to programed by a dealer. Try doing a search. I know this has been talked about before. you might be able to find more info.

Thanks for the reply and information. I thought the pcm might have to be programmed, but that would be OK if the wiring was all in place. I will take your advice and do a search.
