Really? Nice, I'd love to do something along those lines in time. It's my only means of transportation and I drive about 100-150 miles a week just mon-thurs. if i go straight to work and home. I agree with ya on not being to keen on the kit. My cousin has a Zr2 pickup with a 5 or 6 inch kit and it's nice, but for how rough the ride is it should be more capable on and off road.

Thumbs up Install went pretty smooth Tony

Just follow the instructions and it will be good. Myself and a buddy did it in about 6 hours with breaks. Only thing on mine was the oil coolant lines going to the filter were REALLY tight after the install, but they along with my radiator are leaking anyways and is being replaced next weekend. Biggest thing to me is the bumpers, I can live with the front, but the back looks awful with the 3 inch gap between it and the body. Thinking of a way to fix that now... Pics in my profile, not the best quality but they show before and after and the bumpers gaps. And an impact gun is your best friend. Other than that havent had any problems yet. Does require welding if automatic to lenthen the shift rod linkage.
Oh and by the way I said in an earlier post that he would make bumper brackets. He didn't know that the first gen was diffrent then the 2nd gen he had made brackets for before. But we are working towards a solution. Didn't want anyone to think I was a lying punk

As soon as my 3 inch kit comes in and I find a good weekend to do it I'll try to post pics. My bumpers might be a lil different as I'm running custom ones (the rear bolts up kinda like the factory just with more bolts.

I won a 3 inch lift and posi lok both NIB off fleabay for $150, lol.

I lucked out on it. I bid on it at $150 bud it never got over the reserve (only bid). It ended and he emailed me a 2nd chance with the price of $150 so I jumped on it. If I happen to cross one again I'll keep you in mind tho
