its not extended. they say its long enough for the lift. someone else asked about that then called PA and asked them and they said that they never had problems with the shift linkage for both the console and steering column shifters.

3 inch body lift?? unless you just accidentally pressed 3 instead of 2 then i dont know how you are getting a 3 inch body lift. but if it actually is a 3 inch lift then you will run into other problems.

What other problems am I going to run into? I have the steering figured out and brake lines. I will have trimming to do for my fan but thats no big deal, I have all the oil lines figured out as well I am relocating them. I don't think there is anything else besides fuel filler neck.

The shifter in 2nd gens is a cable, it'll be fine.

Using a 3 just make sure all the wires are long enough. Your only problems will be the bumpers, steering, and oil lines. Its not any harder than a 2 inch lift. People see 3 inch on a 2nd gen and without the research it can be a problem. You seem like you have looked at it and know what you are faceing
