I have a 2005 gmc jimmy 2 door with a standard transmission. I installed a 2 inch performance accesories body lift, and the gear shifter hits off the center console when trying to shift into 2nd 4th and reverse, it says to heat and bend the gear shifter forward and to the right, has anyone done this? Would a bench seat out of an s10 fit without interfering with the gear shifter?
