Sorry to say this again, but these are common subjects and have been discussed before.

Tim (hanr3) has a good article located in the Tech Article (DIY) section on tire fit vs lift. The pictures are gone, sadly, but the information is still there.

If you do a t-bar crank or put indexed torsion keys in, you will likely wear out your ball joints. The only reason to replace them is if they are bad, but anything much over 1.5" added lift will wear the ball joints out faster.

Your speedometer will need to be corrected if you change your tire size. Places are getting iffy about doing this. The dealer can do it as well as many other places with a full function scan tool, but they do not like to. The dealer, if willing, will likely charge you for an hour of diagnostic time at a going rate of ~$60.

That question cannot be answered until you select a tire size to go to and list your stock tire size (label on your driver door).

Stock tire is not 23". What is the actual numbers for the tire? There were two sizes offered on the 2nd gen S-series non-ZR2 trucks. 235/70R15 (28" tall) and 235/75R15 (29" tall).

Have you found a 3" BL for your truck?

What kit?

I do not believe they make 3 inch bls. You can get 2 inch body lifts, and the suspension you just crank the t-bar.

If you do a torsion bar crank with no body lift you can run 30"s with the stock rims. 31"s with fender trimming or a body lift.
