Default Body Lift Questions. Sugestions please.

Hey guys, just finished my 2" suspension lift, but haven't gotten tires yet. Yes, the pizza cutters do look horrid but I wanted to check with everyone on here before I buy some. I was thinkin 31's but will they fit without a body lift?? Also, if I do need to get one I had no idea which one to go with and what all is invloved. I hear that the lifting its self isnt that hard but having to deal with the likage and stuff like that slightly intimidates me. Any of you with body lifts can ya help me out??

i did a body lift (performance accessories) and its not as bad as it sounds...takes about one day give take.
just follow the instructions and its easy. the only real pain is if the bolts on the mounts themselves are seized ...i recommend soaking in pb blaster for several days before you start the lift..it helps.

as far as wheel i have 31/10.5/15 on stock wheels that fit fine no rubs at all, that was with just a 2" rear shackle and 1.5 torsion crank.

my exp. wheels will vary by what you are running..stock vs aftermarket and backspacing come into play.

do some searching, body lifting is common around here...i would say its worth it.

ok, any other parts i would need or would be recomended? I've seen ads for Gap Guards?? Or is there a kit that includes everything needed for a resonalble price. Speaking of a price what is a good one. I've seen everything from 115-200+. Also you fit those tires without the body lift or once you got it?

gap guards, i didnt get them....i went to tractor supply and bought some implement belt by the foot and just made some..i am cheap that way.

about 200.00 is right for body lift...i got lucky and found mine on craigslist...just had to get some bolts.

the tires/wheels were on before body lift.

you can check out my posts / album....it will give you an idea of the steps i took.
