clearing 30"s or 31"s
I have a 97 4dr blazer 4wd. I want to do a 2 inch body lift, and 1 1/2" tb crank with synergy offroad shackles. I have a set of 16x10" helo wheels. I was wondering with that lift, will I clear a set of 30"s or possibly 31"s withour rubbing? And also I thought about doing a 3" add-a-leaf in the rear on top of those, is there anyway to get more front end lift without buying a lift kit or doing more on the tb crank?

Yea, but I dont know if the 10 inch wide wheels will clear with 31"s, they stick out a bit from the body. Theyare about an inch or twowider wheel spacing, plus being 10 inches wide, they stick out a bit.

you may even have a rubbin problem with the 30s. that rim is kinda too wide for the blazer

You may run into some problems with the wider wheels. In THIS THREAD, Cyukio (2WD with ~5-5" lift) had trouble getting 30"x10.5" tires to fit on his 15x10 wheels. He ended up going with 29"x10.5" tires.

10 inch wide rims? NO WAY!!! 8 inch wide with a good offset and 30s,maybe, but will be close.3 inch shackles may give you some driveline angle problems at the rear axle.I would think that 2 inch shackles, stock width/offset rims and a T-bar crank will clear 31s.Stay away from the wide rims. That stock offset is designed to placethe drive weightcentered over the front hubs/bearings.The further you move this weight off center over the hub ,the faster you wear the hub out along with other steering components. These IFS setups from factoryaren't real strong to begin with. They weredesigned for a smoother ride.If you want to go big then ditch the IFS and go with a solid front axle swap.
