How does it ride with the shackles and t-bar crank? Any change? I was thinking of doing the same thing on my 1st gen but after hearing the t-bar crank wears out front end components faster, I'm kind of leaning towards not doing it.

 

Honestly, I can tell no big difference in the ride quality. The trick to a t/b crank is NOT to over-do it. You can tell a huge difference in the looks though.

make sure if you got 100,000+ miles on your truck and your runnin factory balljoints, replace them before you do the crank.
