Default easyest and cheapest way to get about 3 inces on your rig

first you have to put it up on a frame lift trust me it helps

things your gonna need
1) 4-1.5 inch coil spacers
2) 4-new shocks 3 inches longer
front=
okay once you have the truck on a lift take all 4 wheels off then in the front take off your front shocks now you can loosen up your coils and fit one under and one over each coil instal new shock tighten everything up and your done with the front
rear=
ever notice how your axle is actually above your rear leaf springs well heres where that changes first take the old shocks off then loosen up your u bolts and your gunna want a jack for this you want to take your rear end and one side at a time bring it under your leafs and drop it on a jack then you can bring it up to the bottom of your leafs and mount it on it might take some figuring but now you have to find a way to put the new shocks on the rear put all 4 wheels back on and your done

and actually just siting here reading it you probably don't need new shocks for the rear and if your front end does have t-bars well its a nice way to level it out when your towing something

S-series 4x4s all have torsion bars. 99% of the 2wds have coils. There was a 2wd zr2 model that used torsion bar suspension. Was the same as its 4wd brother with the axles replaced with stubs and 2wd trans. GM also done the same thing on some import 2wds.

Guys that lower 4x4 models (and some typhoon owners) do the same mod of removing the axles and making stubs to convert their 4x4 (or awd) to 2wd to get more clearance for lowering.
