Default Fitting 31x10.5x15 tires

What all would I need to do in order to fit 31x10.50x15 tires on my truck? Could I just crank the t-bars slightly and get shackles for the rear or would I need to get a suspension/body lift?

Thanks!

you can crank the t-bars 1.5" and add 2" shackles and be fine.
thats what i used to run with...never had any issues.

Does running wheel spacers create a problem when running 31's or do the allow extra clearance

wheel spacers effect would depend on the wheels you put them on.
if stock i would think not....but that is just my opinion.
i run camaro wheels and the backspacing is 4.5 vs the stock 6".
so that puts my wheels out 1.5 past stock.
if you search around the forum you may find a more experienced answer.

yeah im running 1.5" spacers on front stockers. I know when i turn left the left front tire is very close to rubbing the stock mud flap with the 235/75r15's.

so you saying you do have to do a fender trim with 31's on stockers with1.5" spacers and tbar crank? Those stock flappers are gonna have to go after all the searching i did to find them.

Cool

if u do a key and shackle lift ud clear 31s fine and keep ur flaps. but just cranking ur bars and adding shackles will cause u to have to remove ur flaps. u can buy the zr1 keyways from a gm shop and itl add almost three inches. just putting them in moves ur stock location up and gives u the ability to move up more. i would recommend doing the zr1 keys and a 2" shackle to clear 31s. but a 2" body lift isnt a bad idea either.....theres also a ball joint extention u could use along with a shackle. the spacer helps realign ur camber when u crank ur bars. ud be into this lifting option maybe $100-150 at most.

Thanks Duxtoyz for the info. Does using the zr1 keys or did you mean zr2 keys add more than 1.5"s the front? They say going more than 1.5" on torsion bar will tear up front end parts.
