Short answer, no. Long answer, no unless you want your performance back. Depending on what gears you have in the axles now, you will likely end up with a complete dog off the line.

I would highly suggest you change your gears. Unless you want your truck to run like crap. If you plan on 35's then 4.56's would be your best bet. George is running 34's with 4.56 gears.

You have to check the availability of gears for your axles as well.

will it be ok to run stock gears for now until I can afford to upgrade a few months down the road?

Yes you can. When you are ready to get new gears call the guys at Randy's Ring and Pinion. Or contact Georgesblazah because that is who I purchased my Yukon gears from.

Its a little hard on ur tranny to run that large of a tire without regearing. I know alot of guys with zr2 blazers and trucks will run 35's and 36's without regearing. But then the zr2's are already regeared to 3.73 i wanna say not hundered percent on that though. It should be okay for a while but i would recommend regearing or you may have to rebuild ur tranny at some time.
