swain ,
is the upper shackle bushing just like the lower bushing, and is the top bushing pressed into the frame rail, I have the Energy Suspension urathane bushing,
and the 3leaf shackles but gun shy on cutting the bolts, and being 100% commited
not knowing all the details.
thanks, Robert

Well usually it is the lower ones that give you problems, I got the bolts out of the top of the shackles pretty easy with a BFH. But it would be the same idea drill out the rubber/punch out the sleeve/remove the rest of the rubber and cave in the outter sleeve(not sure if there is one on top) then punch it out too. Honestly it's not that big of a deal if you have an angle grinder, a drill, chisel + big friggin hammer, and of course new bushings & hardware.

I got these http://www.shop.synergyoffroad.com/E...ngs-32142G.htm

For some reason I thought I remembered them being about half the price so you may want to check ebay.

EDIT: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Energ...Q5fAccessories
Almost half the price.

Upper bushings? You were able to get the bolts out of the leafsprings? That's impressive you must live in an area where they dont salt the roads?
