When you lift a blazer, how high can you go with a suspension lift without having to mess with the drive shafts?

All depends on what 4x4 system you have. Most companies will state that "Drivetrain/Drive-shaft modification required with 4-button Insta-Trac"
But I'm sure someone will tell you an average of what can be accomplished.

Would there be any problems with a 7.5-8 inch suspension lift?? (1987 S-10 Blazer)

im not positive but i think the biggest suspension lift it 6in. I know it is for the second gens. Unless you are doing a solid axle swap.

I Have a 6" Lift (not installed yet) and i was thinking of putting 2" lift blocks in the rear and 1.5" Tbar crank. with the lift..

I believe nvanzee is right. around 6 inches is the maximum maybe a little more for the 2nd gen, if you want to go more you can get the extensions for the driveshaft.

Would it be possible to take a longer drive shaft out of a similar truck and throw it in the blazer? something that matches the yoke.. just an idea.. And I've heard about the CV drive shafts, are those pretty good or do they bind up??
