It won't get you any extra lift.

The zr2 has lower hanging mounting points than the non-zr2. So if you bolted the suspension lift on from the zr2 to your non-zr2, it would stay the same because of how the mounting points are on the non-zr2.

Default Starting point of 4dr.

Tibby, I am asking a feable question. My 96 4dr. 2 wd. has what I think are low leaf springs. I know it sits lower than a S10 pickup. S10's spings have a curve. Mine are flat to curving down at the shackels. The people walking around here say It is what it is. Can't be. I have been on the road many years and don't see this as normal. Do you have any light to shine on this?

Check out other '96 4d 2dw's or similiar. See how they sit, get down & look at the springs. Go to a wrecker & see how they sit. If they have arched springs that actually arch UPWARDS rip em off the vehicle, replace yours with them & get an alignment.

BTW NEVER re-use U-bolts, always get new & they're probably under $20 a side.
Or get Add-a-Leaf, but that's more like a bandage & not addressing the issue where better springs would.
