Default Is my friend right ?

A friend of mine told me that I can take leaf springs and shackles from a K5 and use them on my Blazer and he also said that it will lift it 8-9" I find that hard to believe that they will even fit let alone lift it 8-9" can someone please tell me if this is true or if he is full of crap.

The springs will fit, shackles no. They might lift it but 8-9 inches I highly doubt. I would suggest finding friends that know more about a car than where to put the gas before listening to them.
