Default New lift advice

I am new to the forum first off. I have a 1998 Blazer 4x4 4 door. I want to put 31 inch tires on and it is getting a 3 body lift by Super Lift. It is my daily driver. I need to know what problems I may run into with the lift and tire change. I already know it will require a cable and gear change for the speedometer. I may tweak the suspension at a later date but not sure what to do there. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

with the 3" body lift i would think the 31's will fit.

i did 1.5" t-bar crank, 2" shackle lift and a 2" body lift and ran 31's for along time.
as far as the tires....your speedo will be off a little...wouldnt worry about that too much.

as for the lift itself, there are i think 6 mounting points on each side...soak them daily with pb blaster (or your fav) and that will help you out.
other than that a body lift isnt too bad. just read inst. for a couple days prior as well so you get a feel for what you are doing.

not the worst mod to do....if you continue to lift you will face the suspension lift...now that is tons o fun!!

I just finished putting the same lift warthog mentioned on my truck. I'm running 31's, but I had to do some minor fender trimming to avoid rubbing while turning. Other than that, the only issues I had were with stuck body mount bolts. Definitely worth the work though!

Hey guys, I'm new to cars, I'm only 16 so I don't know a great deal about them. I have a 2001 LS 4 door 4x4 Blazer with 2in lift on it and I was wondering what are the options that I can do to increase the lift of it and if you know what it might cost me that would be great. And thanks for the help!

On anything 89 + its gonna require more than a gear change to fix the speedo. For the early ones you can do a lil work on the DRAC and fix it yourself. On the ones with electronic trans they have to be reprogramed.

Only other thing I didn't see mentioned. If you run bigger tires on the stock 4x4 rims they will rub at full turn.
