new problem.....spare tire...
So I am trying to get my Jimmy trail-ready. It's got a t-bar crank and shackle lift plus trimming to clear 31x10.50 Firestone ATs with swaybar disconnects.
I got a full-size spare that clubs require for trail rides.
It doens't fit in the stock location. It needs to.
My plan is to get it to fit in the stock location and when I go trail riding it will get moved to the roof rack and strapped down for easier access. I am not interested in a rear swing out rack as this is my DD and we are always opening up the hatch.
It looks like I could do some trimming and it would fit. I do still run the rear swaybar.
Has anyone else done this and what all did they do to make it fit.
Thanks......

Yours is a 4dr, correct? Look into converting the spare to the inside like on some of the 2dr models. That is if you can sacrafice the loss of some cargo area. Just a thought.

Previous owners of my 2dr used to have two german sheppards that they drove around in the back of the Blazer regularly with the spare tire inside of it. Still have the seats in the back available. And when I have my rear seats up (rarely) I still have plenty of room to haul my groceries. It really doesn't take up that much space.
