Default new shocks with t-bar crank

I am getting ready to crank my t-bars 1 or 1.5" and was wondering (because i need to replace the shocks anyway), should i get a longer shock for the front with a crank?

u should be fine i dont think the 1.5" is going to make with a stock shock it should still have plenty of travel.

Default shocks...

since i am needing to replace them soon anyway, would there be any reason to NOT get ones a lil longer, and if so, what do you (or anyone) recommend?

Other than that it is not necessary...

As far as shock recommendations, there are plenty of threads on that subject.
