New wheels and tires. Need lifting advise.
So I recently picked up a set of 15x7 unique wheels (like soft 8's) on BFGoodrich TA KO 245/75/15. They were off a 2wd blazer and for basically new wheels and tires I couldn't beat the price. Well now i get home and do my research i realize 4wd jimmys like mine have an offset of 6in and 2wd ones 4in. Stock suspension as of now. So what I'm getting at is will they stick out terrible and rub? And if so what do I need to do to prevent that? Tbar crank? Shackles? Body lift? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Also by the way mine is a 1996. I'm trying to keep away from trimming my fenders but if I have to I will. Thanks.

I have the same setup (except 235's) on my blazer. You might run into a little rubbing on the back of the front wheelwell when you're in full lock in reverse. Other than that, I haven't had any problems. But, i'm not sure if the difference from 235 to 245 will make the rubbing worse.

I do not think they will rub ive seen people use 30 inch tires with out rubbing on there blazers. By any chance did you try to put them on?
you could do a 2 inch body lift or a tbar crank and 2 inch shackle install if there gonna rub

i haven't tried it but will give it a shot. I'll let you know how it goes. By the way that equates to 30.5 inches. Either way a 2in body lift is going on so it's just a minor setback if they do rub.

i dont think they will rub and yea i forgot to add the .5 but you know what i mean

So i put the wheels on. No rubbing! I was so relieved. But I would not go any bigger than that on tire size. Not much clearance.

well if you wanna go bigger your gonna need to lift it . I did put 31s on my 1st gen and i lifted her
i still needed minor trimming but im happy with it
