i only wana raise my front up no more then 1.5" cause ive found out thats pretty much the safe zone. so with that in mind ive found 1.5",2' and 3" shackles. would i wana get the 1.5 or 2" shackles cause ive heard that 2' shackles only equal out to 1.5". if thats true if i got the 1.5" shackles theyd only equal out to 1 inch???

 

my shackles are 2.5" longer than the stock ones, and i got about 1.75" of lift. so go with 2" or 2.25"

 

Normally you get 50% of lift from the height of the shackle cause your raising the rear of the leaf springs only and not the front. There is a member on here that has 6 inch long shakles on a ZR2 to get 3 inches of lift. But his springs had some sag and the actual lift was around 2 inch I think. 3leaffab makes shackles that alot of people on here like. They hardly ever have any on thier site, but they sell on e-bay quite a bit.

Or like Kr. Fabs, you could make your own if you have the weling skills and the metal. Then just get some grade 8 bolts and nuts and voila!

 

If you make your own you have the option of drilling multiple holes to get some flexibility in the hight you want. With my torsion tweak i wasnt sure if 2" or 1.5" would look better. So i drilled two holes an inch apart and got it how i want it.
