Lifted mine today with 3" home made shackles and 2" torsion bar crank.

you should do it even with the nicest shackles you're getting a 2-3" lift for less than $100

the ebay shackles are awsome man, i would recommend these over the autozone cheapy ones anyday. The ebay shackles weigh about 3x more than the stock, and they feel about 10x as beefy, so you know they can handle more abuse than the stock. oh and for the bolts youll need a big 1/2" rachet, a pitman arm puller, and i also used a cordless impact drill and some badmofo elbow grease. it takes a while, but it beats torching out the bushings. the bolts will be siezed in the bushing sleeve, but the big ratchet can take care of that just keep turning until it gets easier and easier, then once its easy to turn use a hammer to bang it out as much as possible. youll probably only be able to bang it out about a half inch maybe less. thats when you use the pitman arm puller to help the bolt along......it helps if you have badass friends and a good supply of budwieser.

oh yeah, your also gonna need to bend your tailpipe a little bit, cuz the longer shackle causes the shackle bolt to hit the tailpipe......at least mine does at an idle.
