Default question about t-bar crank/saggy bars

i was thinking about doing a t-bar adjustment and shackles in the next weekend or 3, but i haven't gotten underneath the truck yet; i was wondering how to tell if your t-bar is sagging though?

i have a 97 with 117k on it, but in decent shape all around except i think the tires may be rubbing a bit at full lock and it only has 265/75/15's so i suspect they probably are to some extent but i don't want to go crankin on bolts with no idea of what it should look like before i start

265/75R15 is bigger than the factory tire size, so if that is in fact the size of the tire you are not sagging, just rubbing due to the larger tires.

265 is roughly 31"... you will have some pretty good rubbing problems if you are stock height.

easiest way to see if your sagging is measure you height on level ground and compare it to stock height measurements posted here (with pics no less) by swartlkk. Search it up!

Ok I have a 95 LS 4 dr 4x4. There is a noticeable difference between the ride hieght at the front and rear with the rear being higher. Same size tires all around. I was thinking of cranking the t bars for 1 inch in increased height. How much will this affect the durability and wear of the front end components?

Thanks ahead of time.

probably not much. more than likely your torsion bars will sag back down (about a year), before anything breaks. I ended up putting in stiffer bars because the sag just keeps coming back & the last time the keys were cranked all the way.
