Definitely get some pics up. I have a first gen and I want the same kit desperately. Not too many guys with first gen blazers, and even less of them putting these lifts on them, but I can look at second gen trucks and blazers and come up with.a general idea of what mine will look like.

Im very pleased with how it turned out. Gave the blazer a nice stance. Only thing I need to do is change rearend to a zr2 style or put axle spacers in. The aftermarket rims i've got clearly show the nice difference between front end width and rear end lol

Haha. Is go with the zr2 axle, just make sure you grab the front diff for the gears, cuz I'm pretty sure zr2's came with 3.73 gearing. See, that's what I'd like to do, is grab a zr2 rear and the gears from the front and the torsion bars and put it all on my 93. Any one else having a problem growing money trees?

Sic man, I wanna go a little higher but it looks killer. Still doing research...can you get lockers out of the zr2 front diff? I wanna stick with independent suspension in the front, posi will always correct the rear.

Your truck looks really good, and I love those Cooper SST's. If you go with a ZR2 axle make sure you check what gears your truck has, because you might need the front diff too to match gears. The most common RPO codes for the gears are GU6-3.42 and GT4-3.73 (most, if not all ZR2's use GT4). I had the 3.42 gears stock, and found when I went to 31" tires that my low end torque was lacking, so when I swapped in the ZR2 axle with 3.73 gears the truck was a lot more fun driving in the city.
The ZR2 didn't come with a locking front diff, and from all the research I've done it's not a good idea to put a locker in the aluminum diff cause it can't take the stress and will grenade. The only way to do a front locker with the Blazer IFS is to find an iron front diff from a 5 speed manual ZR2. Make sure you check that it is an iron diff cause I've heard that even some of the 5 speed ZR2's had aluminum diffs.
Hope this info helps!

Just curious...I know you said you changed out the front diff for the zr2...other than the gearing does it widen the front end too? Or is that due to the kit and new a-arms? Seems that widening can only be achieved with longer arms and shafts as well as the rest of the necessary stuff. Or was it just the wheels you installed? Really like the wide look you got but don't know what you did special to achieve it.
Also..how does going from the 3.42 gearing to 3.73 help you get mileage back? Wouldn't you lose gas mileage?
