To really fix the sagging rear, new leaf spring packs is the true answer. But most just use add-a-leaf kits, or leaf spring shackles. They will give you some lift, which will level the back with the front.

If you look up "axle flip kit" I believe that will give you roughly 4 inches of lift. What you do is relocate the leaf springs from under the axle to the top. You need new leaf spring perches and a place to bolt your shocks. But wanting 4 inches of lift... How are you going to lift the front to match?

if i already lifted my truck with 2" add-a-leafs in the rear and torsion keys in the front.. but now that im done i decided i want more ground clearance- so i was wondering if i buy a 2 inch rough country suspension lift kit, is it added on top of what i already have installed, resulting in a total of 4 inches of clearance OR will the shop end up taking out the lift i just put in, not achieving any difference in ground clearance?

Don't bother with that kit. You are not going to gain anymore ground clearance. Your next option is a 5" or 6" suspension lift.

New guy here, just read this thread and didn't see anything mentioned about 2wd's.
2001 2dr, 2wd. Was looking at the rough country 2" suspension lift plus the rough country 2" body lift. Hoping to clear 31's. I won't be using it offroad or anything. I live in a flood prone area and just need it higher off the ground.

Any advice on these kits combined would be appreciated

Your gonna need spindels. You can use coil springs but the ride will be stiff and sometimes it's hard to align. I'd do shackles in the rear and spindles in the front. And then a body lift. I hear ya on the lift to clear water and the debris left in the road from floods and rain. Just shop around and see what you find.

So, I'll need spindles, rotors, calipers and brake lines from an s10 pickup? The spindles and shackles are 2" right?
