Default tbars and shackles

alright guys i am new here and this question has probably been asked a million times. with the tbar adjustment its a couple of turns of the bolt correct? and for the shackles i can add those to the oem springs correct? how much do the shackles cost, where can i get them, and how hard is to do? oh yeah this will be happening on a 98 blazer 4x4. thanks in advance. i am happy to be apart of the forum.

1) spot on with the tbar. 1 full turn of the bolt = .2'. It may go a little more or less depending on how worn in your bars are.

2) no problem with shackles + OE leaf packs.

3) should be about $60-90 + shipping

4) 4 Wheel Parts. Synergy Offroad and 3 Leaf Fab would normally be my first recommendation, but they are out of stock if I'm not mistaken.

5) How hard it is depends on if youve got a 2-door or a 4-door.

if you can afford new leafs go for it but otherwise stock are fine. just FYI my cost at the dealership was 300 per side for leafs and thats with my employee discount.

yeah i have been researching a little and i think my stock ones will work good, they dont sag at all so i should be good to go. when adjusting the tbar, whats a good way to gauge how high you have gone and know that both sides are even?

do a few cranks at a time. then drive it a little to make sure they settle were they are supposed to. Then measure each side and do it again if you need to. also you dont want to go any higher than about 1.5"

Body lift doesnt affect shocks, but you can go with longer shocks to make up for the tbar crank though.
