Default wanting to clear 265's

i was wonderin what i could do to like a 96-99 blazer to clear 265's? i think i saw something a couple years back in like a field and stream that added an addaleaf in the rear and crank the torsion bars, adding like shocks and everything else.,,
also aren't extreme wheels 16" ??, will they run on a 4x4??
i'm thinking about gettin a blazer again,, kinda miss my old one

Just throw in a lift block and crank the t-bars and you are all set!

What Euro said except i would suggest adding new longer travel shocks andeither adding shackles, doing an add a leaf, or doing a spring over axle conversion

where can i find a good set of cheap 16" rims to fit a blazer/jimmy? what backspacing would i have to run to not rub so bad?
does anyone have this setup?? if so please jump in
heres what i was thinking--
crank torsion bars,
add a leaf ,
longer shocks
minor finder trimming
rims,
what else would i need??

i believe the stock Backspacing is around5-6", so anything less than that ex 3.25" will cause the tire to stick out farter, creating a larger radius that the wheel turns on, which causes higher chance of rubbing.
you can get stock backspacing, but then your tires are still tucked under the wheel well, and it usually looks goofy, making your car look top heavy, (higher stance, but not wider)
