Anyone know if a add a leaf kit for a 99-06 Silverado will fit a 2000 Blazer? Found one in the local classifieds that was never installed, I thought they were a universal kit

Ask the seller to take a length and width measurement. Match it up with yours. If the width is the same and the length will fit in your spring pack, go for it. I know some people who pull apart a spare Blazer spring pack and just pull one leaf from that so as I said, if it fits I would go for it. It might go in a different location than what the Silverado may have called for (higher or lower in the pack) but it should give the same result. Just remember, a shorter add a leaf gives a more choppy ride and doesn't do much for a sagging spring. A longer add a leaf gives more support to the entire pack and the ride isn't as choppy.

The ole Blazer looks pretty good, but the rough country add a leaf kit added about 3" of lift in the rear where the T bar crank did about 1.5", is there anyway to level this thing out now, the rear has to be atleast 1.5"-2.5" higher than the front now,

one add a leaf gave you 3 inches of lift wow my superlift spring with a set of 2inch shackles gave 3 inches is it a short leaf did it make your rearend really stiff but that 1.5in on the front is all you can get on stock front end you would have to get after market parts to get more lift in the front

I didn't get a measurement to be exact, but the rear was sagging when I did the T bar crank by a good inch or so, and if you look at it now it's sitting about 2" higher in the rear. What do i need to order to make the front end level with the rear now, heres a pic for comparison. I want it to sit level with the rear end. It does ride a bit stiffer but it's not like 3/4 ton truck ride or anything. I went with the add a leaf mainly to get extra tongue weight, so I can mount a dirt bike carrier on the hitch and take my WR250X with me.

i think the only thing you can do next to get the extra lift in the front is to go for a SAS. lol

2" might be good, if it's too much is there a 1" shackle available, or it could be made I supose.
