Default Will this lift it?

I went to advanced auto today in looks for a few parts. Saw a few suspension parts and thought id ask if they would lift my Jimmy up a little. I want a lift on the Jimmy so that my trailer doesnt sit so low but I dont have the money for a 300$ lift kit. Will these shackles lift it at all? Theyre "lowering shackles" but theyre much bigger than what I currently have on...

I have a 2001 GMC Jimmy RWD 4.3L manual 2 door SLS. I have no knowledge about lifts so if this doesnt work then is there another method I could do thats cheap?

Those are 1st gen s10 shackles I believe.

I picked up a pair of Ebay for about 100$, does both a 2" and 3" lift if desired.

edit: I'm canadian, so would be cheaper if American.

No problem, you might be able to find a cheaper set on Ebay if your willing to wait for shipping. That's still a good price tho.

Found them on Amazon for 55$. Now I gotta wait 5-7 days for them to come in. Yay

I hope they do around 1-2" of lift. I dont really want to do any crazy lift seen as I wont be changing my stock wheels/tires anytime soon. On a tight budget

That's exactly what you will get. I installed those(rough country type) and an add a leaf on the rear and got almost 3.5" lift.

I'm thinking of getting stock shackles to bring it back down a little

oh? What leaf springs would I need for mine? Are there any cheap reliable ones for a 2dr Jimmy?

Edit: the ones you add, the ones on there currently dont seem to be completely shot yet so maybe just add to it.

I cant remember exactly what add a leaf I got, but itll make it stiffer, as well as add a little height. Either option is descent in my eyes, just a preference to the driver. If you look around my thread, there might be mention of what kit I used.
