Hey there,
My s10 started acting weird: first, it would lose rpm on gear change or steering turn, idle went rough, then it would die on gear change or steering turn. After a while, i started it up and it straight died on high idle and refused to turn on again.
changed ignition coil, rotor, cap, ignition module, still not turning on. No spark or fuel at fuel injectors so that leaves me with a faulty pickup coil??
If so, is it possible to only change the pickup coil without taking out the distributor? I have a new pickup and a new distributor with everything on it (rotor, pickup, cap, ignition module) What do you suggest? and could it be another problem?

Attached picture is after removing the rotor (was stuck as hell) and..yes..looks nasty. Am I diagnosing this right?
