I have been having issues trying to figure out why my gauge cluster lights and A/C light on the dash have gone out. I have checked all of the fuses they are all good. I am not very good with cars so I haven't taken the dash apart to check internally. I have been searching for the past 2 days for an answer and I cannot find anything.

Things I checked:
Dimming wheel - checked it all the way up and down
Fuses - all of the fuses are in working order

Both of the lights went out at the exact same time. I am thinking there was a possible short cause by the stereo that a friend installed. I have remove the stereo and am still not sure what else to do. It is hard to drive at night without the lights working.

All head lights, tail lights , and some lights work. It is just the dash illumination.
