Default 1996 blazer security bypass

Help!!! I have a 1996 blazer and I went out to start it up and the lights flash and it will not crank at all. How do I bypass this security system. Help I need to get it started.

I'd investigate the starting system for the problem. When a GM vehicle is disabled by the VATS (vehicle anti-theft system) it will crank and run but stall right away.

There's a easy tech, Turn on the headlights, and turn the key, if the lights dim , then your battery is shot, if they go out or not light at all, you've got a short of other wiring problem.
