1998 Blazer with half the cluster not responding
My voltage regulator went out while driving and the voltage was bouncing all over the place. Unfortunately I couldn't not stop (i was on my way home going down the freeway). as i was driving the charging light came on and my coolant temp, fuel gauge, and charging light all stay on. i did replace the alternator.
what do you guys think will fix the problem.
could the voltage spikes have taken out the computer or maybe the instrument cluster?
