Default 1998 Bravada AWD dashlight Never lights up?

When I first turn the key before starting the vehicle all the dashlights light up temporarily except AWD, (AWD doesnt even work) No codes are being thrown, everything underneath is connected and looks good, any help is appreciated

I'm not too familiar with the bravada, but I would start by checking your fuses. It's possible one that powers the AWD system has blown. Did you scan it with a basic scanner, or one that actually has the capability to read codes from multiple systems individually?

I am at a loss when it comes too the Bravada also... "ChevyRiders" advice sounds solid though, hopefully you simply have a blown fuse. I also hope whatever the problem is will be a cheap and simple fix for you... Best of all maybe your AWD will start working again once you track down the issue.

there is an ATC fuse in the underhood fuse box. it is a 20 amp little mini blade. mine has blown three times and we're still chasing that gremlin but when it does I have no front wheel spin whatsoever and no AWD light like I should. when I put in a new 20 amp fuse the AWD light comes on and dry road driving proves the front to be somewhat engaged complete with Crow Hop. there is also a separate four-wheel drive fuse that has never blown and I've never pulled but I believe that one is in the cockpit dash.

I also have a 98 Bravada and have had for 4 yrs and never had a AWD light but I have had it off road and it worked without a light coming on
