1998 no brake lights

Default 1998 no brake lights

1998 s-10 blazer.No brake lights all the sudden.Hazards work,turn signals work,upper brake light works and tail lights work.
Checked fuses and bulbs.Any ideas???

yea my 96 did the same thing as well as my 97, its probably gonna be you brake light switch mounted on the brake pedal assembly under the dash its not hard at all to change, and its only 10 bucks for the part definatly worth a try

Did you top brake light bar still work or was it out also???

my 97 bravada still had a functional 3rd brake light, but my 96 had no brake lights at all, Both times still just a brake light switch

Default wont shift out of park

i have a 1997 blazer that wont shift out of park. also i noticed no brake lights. do you think it could be the brake light switch under the steering column. thanks
