My 99 LS died the other day while driving down the road. It didn't cut out or run rough. It just died. It's getting fuel, and everything electrical works except the fuel gauge and the fact it won't hit when it turns over.
The coil, distributor pickup coil have been replaced, and have tested every fuse.
It really puzzles me about the fuel gauge not working. I mean it won't move. I'm down to thinking a rat has chewed on a wire somewhere?
