1st gen trailer hitch wiring question
I've been wiring up a trailer hitch and I've found the harness in with the jack. Everything except the right blinker wire which is supposed to be dark green. I see a lime green wire (which I tried but doesn't work). I opened up the right tail light and I don't see a dark green wire connected at all. All the wiring appears to be original. Yet no dark green. Any help? Does the right tail light wire go behind the jack?

Right rear should have a dark green, a brown, and a black wire. All being dark colors, it might be difficult to figure out which is which. Using a volt meter or test light will help. Turn the hazard flashers on and probe the 3 wires until you find the one that's blinking. The dark green wire is for the right turn and stop lamp, (same wire).

Just to make sure..... right side is passenger side, (when standing behind the vehicle looking at the rear bumper)
Black is ground, brown is tail light. The third wire should be dark green, unless possibly the socket was replaced, in that case, it could be any color
