2000 8 way seat issue - HELP
All seat functions do not work, I have 12V to the switch. I have a few questions that may help troubleshoot?
1) There are two connectors on each of the 3 motors, the connector with the 2 wires (ylw/dk grn, drk blu/lt blu, lt grn/tan) both wires to each motor have power... is this supposed to be? I checked continuity between the switch and motor and there is only continuity when the switch is activated...
2) The white connector (smaller) has a red,blk and a coloured wire, is this for memory?
3) When I took the back cover off the switch there are a bunch of other coloured wires running into the switch (pink, purple, brown..ect) what are these wires?
The wire diagrams I have just show the 6 coloured wired I mentioned in 1)... Is there anything else I can check to help narrow down the issue?
Also, when I first removed the seat, flipped it over and plugged it in I could hear the motors click but they would not move. After trying it a few times they stopped clicking.. still have 12 V to the switch and motors.
Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks.

I have the same issue, my power drivers seat isn't working properly, my lumbar works but nothing else.
I have power coming from the body harness that plugs into the seat harness. the 2 small oranges have 12v and the big orange has 9v, the ground seems good too. but the seat does nothing.
is there any way to power the motors independently from the switch to move them?
