Default 2000 Chevy Blazer Retained Accessory Power or RAP system not working

Good Day,
Thank you for allowing me to post in this forum.

On my 2000 Chevy Blazer the Retained Accessory Power or RAP system all of a sudden decided not to work a few days ago.

I have owned the truck for a couple years now, and it has always worked.

This is the system that allows you to have interior lights, the radio on and work the sunroof between the time that you shut off the ignition switch until you open the driver or passenger doors.

The interior lights and radio seem to be working, although during the day time it's hard to tell if the interior lights come on, so I based my decision on at night time that they do work.

Although my wife has stated (her vehicle) there is times when they have not come on when the door is opened or the keyless entry button used. So I would say that part is intermittent.
Except the Retained Accessory Power or RAP system seems to be not working the entire time.

I have not checked yet, but I can not imagine a separate fuse for that system.

It has seemed to stop working just after its last car wash.

Any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all in advance.

Bill

Have you checked the fuses? I'm pretty sure that there is a fuse for the RAP system. Check both the fuse block inside the cabin as well as under the hood.

Good Day,
Yes, I checked both fuse blocks.
There was a 50 amp fuse in the fuse block under the hood.
After checking that 50 amp, I found that the fuse was good.

There was no other minor fuse marked for the RAP system in either panel.

So this issue is above a blown fuse.
