Default 2001 Blazer intermittent starting problem

My 2001 2dr Blazer has some sort of electrical problem when starting sometimes. This may sound crazy but it's getting worse. The Blazer has some sort of electrical problem with the starter. At times it will start but sometimes it won't. When it doesn't start every thing on the dash lights up looks like it will start but when I turn the key nothing happens doesn't crank no clicking sounds the dash lights don't change. It use to be that if I turned the key enough times it would finally start. Lately I have have had to resort to connecting a wire to the starter relay and touch the positive side of the battery. It will start the engine and I'm good to go. I can drive it all day and make several stops without a problem. Here's where it gets more crazy, if I drive it s short distance even when it does start it won't start again without the my wire relay trick. Even now when I do drive it around all day now it rarely starts in the morning or when I leave from work. I have have been to several shops to look it over and they thought they fixed it. One guy put in a new parking and neutral switch. That didn't help. The battery is less than a year old and the alternator does charge the battery. I'm thinking it is a bad ground somewhere in the starting circuit. The guys at the one place told me they didn't think it was the switch. I'm tired of taking to the garage for another disappointment and money wasted. If one of you guys have seen this or heard of this before let me know what I can do. I'm pretty good at fixing cars.

What was the fix here? My 2001 Blazer Xtreme is doing the exact same thing.
