Default 2001 Instrument Cluster not working

2001 Blazer, 144kmiles. Instrument cluster either does not work at all, or every lamp on the cluster lights up. Tach is the only gauge that works all the time. Odometer and PRNDL12 lights up until key is turned to start or run position. Replaced the ignition switch and still have the problem. Code reader showing no codes. Anyone seen this problem before? Any thoughts?

Default problem solved..

figured it out, maybe I can save someone else $90.00 and a couple of hours of work.....of all things, it turned out the cruise control fuse (fuse #3 on side of dash) was open. How an open cruise control circuit affects the instrument cluster beats me. GM logic? Replaced fuse and normal operation of dash is restored.
