Default 2005 blazer electrical demons

ok.. trying to helpm a family member... my step dad was trying to jump start my sister and hooked cables up to the red and black posts in front of fuse box... no smoke or sparks.. after a while they realized they goofed... well now the brake lights, instrument lights, radio , windows and locks dont work... ive not found a bad fuse yet... everything else seems to work just fine.. im looking at any diagrams i can find online.. im sure im not the first to have to figure this out... anyone got any clues?

either the battery is completely dead or you blew the master fuse in the computer, just find the power wires leading to the fuse box and find the master fuse
