Default 4 way flasher switch

My radio stopped working in my 97 Blazer. In order to get to the radio I’m sure you know you have to remove the dash. When I was removing the dash I broke the 4 way flasher button. Now my flasher won’t turn off. If I press down with a screwdriver it stops but as soon as I remove pressure it turns back on. I’m guessing I’ll have to replace the whole switch?? And the little research I have done looks like this might not be an easy task due to having airbags. No driving for me until I get this fixed. Any help is appreciated.

Here are a few threads specific to the 98+. I can't remember how much changed in '98...

That's great info. Thanks. I did a search but did not come across those. I'm hoping I can remove it with a needle nose. Going out to try it now.
