I have a wire that was cut i was wondering what it was?

looks like someone tapped into that wire for something
where is that located and is there a continue of the red wire under it ?

Looks like a coupler. Like maybe the wire had been cut and instead of splicing and putting a cap he just coupled them back together... and then zip tied to make sure it stayed closed... lol

That is one of the wires to the coil. And the red plastic thing is a tap-tee. You should remove it and use a 3M heat shrink butt-connector.

tach wire???? didnt the old s10s say on the coil what wire is for what?
