Both power locks work well from the passenger door control and they will unlock from the driver's control. However if I try to lock the doors from the driver's side nothing happens. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks

my passenger side window won't do anything and the only thing that anyone has told me is to replace the motor. Is there anything else I need to check before I start trying to remove this motor? I am new to all of this car repair stuff....thanks for any help I can get.
