so I have been having a intermittent problems with my 95 blazer just shutting off when Im driving. my father in law is my mechanic and he had it for a week and couldn't find any problems, so he gave it back to me.
today coming from work as Im pulling in my drive way the truck shut off and wouldn't start up, it just keeps cranking. no dash lights and no fuel pump prime. radio and lights still work.
after doing a couple of hours of research I found it to be my ignition switch!
I found a video where the same problems arose and he fixed it by tapping the switch with a screwdriver and it started right up. that to me is a quick solution. so Im gonna replace the ignition switch.
I have one on hold at O'Rileys.
my question is do I have to take the airbag off to do the replacement or should it just be plug and play?
is there a guide somewhere for this?
thanks in advance
