96 blazer overhead console light stays on?

Question 96 blazer overhead console light stays on?

i got this truck about 2 days ago and have fixed & repaired many things but i have not got around to looking into why the overhead light stays on, anyone know a common reason for this to happen im sure once i get into it i will find the problem im thinkin a relay, but i figured i would ask if anyone has had the same trouble. If anyone out there knows any common reasons let me know thanks ahead of time for your help

I have 5 lights ib mine....
If dome light, does your truck think the door is open? If map light, probably stuck button

yea its the dome light, im gonna look into it when i wake up in the morning, thanks for the response i will let you know what i come up with

I know my door switch is bent, but somehow still works tyrns my domelight on if I push on the door closed haha., could be your problem? Mines on side of dash behind fuses, not sure if yours is the same.
