I recently bought a 97 s10 blazer it was cheap and needed a motor and a few TLC jobs. I've got the new motor in and running great. All the wires are plugged in the right connectors and grounds grounded but I'm not getting a charge the ohm meter after charging the battery to 12 volts only puts out 11.5 seconds after starting. The alternator has tested good 5 out of five times and tested buy two different part stores. The cluster has been taken out and the lens removed. I figure someone rolled the miles back. I'm wondering if this may have something to do with my problem.
