Default 97Blazer electrical issue Please Help

I bought my blazer about 6 months ago and about 2 months ago I lost complete control coming down a hill and the slick icy road threw me into a tree. Passenger side fender was smashed but I was able to tow the car out myself with no further damage (besides a bracket which held some kind of black relay box). After little driving post-crash, I noticed a delay in the amount of time it took my dash lights to come on and that if I did not wait for them to come on then trying to start the car was not possible. Recently, these light stopped coming on entirely and now the car is stuck in my drive way. Im 17 and minimally experienced with cars so I turned to the internet to help my diagnosis. I thought it was the ignition switch so I replaced the tumbler and got new keys, but not the entire ignition. Im sure that this issue will be resolved but I figured a forum focused around the very make in which I drive would be my most helpful option. So please if you can help me resolve this, I would greatly appreciate it as this car is my soul form of transportation to both school and work.
Thank you, Daniel
