Default 98 blazer has an electrical starter gremlin.

Hi, The starter on my 98 blazer starts to randomly go on after car heats up in about 8 - 10 minutes. All the lights on the dash go on and the voltage drops to zero while the starter grinds. I found if I drive in second gear or put the car in park the noise goes away. Wiggling the gear shift from D to N will produce the noise on demand. Can someone point me to what I should focus on. I'm thinking the neutral safety switch and hoping I don't have to take the steering wheel column apart to look for a short. Any help would be appreciated.

Default I think it's the neutral safety switch

I found an old you tube video where the guy said his Blazer would start up every time his truck shifted into overdrive. I will replace the switch this weekend.
